Method
Burger Patty Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Patty
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Gently mix until the seasonings are evenly distributed.
- 2
Form the Patty
Shape the mixture into a patty that is about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of the patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
Grilling
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Cook the Patty
Place the patty on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patty and add the cheese slice on top. Cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
Assemble the Burger
- 5
Toast the Bun
While the patty is grilling, lightly toast the brioche roll on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 6
Add Toppings
On the bottom half of the toasted brioche roll, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled patty with melted cheese. Add the sliced tomato, onion, and pickle chips on top.
- 7
Complete the Burger
Finish by placing the top half of the brioche roll over the toppings. Serve immediately.
