Mojito Ingredients

Method

Mojito Preparation

1

Muddle the Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the mint leaves to release their oils and mix with the sugar. Be careful not to tear the leaves too much.

2

Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half into the glass. You can also cut the other half into wedges and add them to the glass for extra flavor.

3

Pour in the Rum

Add the light rum to the glass, mixing it with the muddled mint and lime mixture.

4

Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes to the top.

5

Top with Club Soda

Pour the club soda over the ice until the glass is full, gently stirring to combine all the ingredients.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish your Mojito with a sprig of fresh mint. Serve immediately with a straw for sipping.
