Method

Prepare the Patties

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Gently mix the ingredients by hand until just combined. Form the mixture into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burger

Place the formed patty onto the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) for medium doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the burger is cooking, slice the burger bun in half if it’s not pre-sliced.

  2. 5

    Add Toppings

Once the patty is cooked to your liking, place it on the bottom half of the bun. Layer on the lettuce, followed by the tomato slice, red onion slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
