Burger Patty

Bun and Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Shape the mixture into a small patty, about 4 inches in diameter and approximately 0.5 inches thick.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

Place the formed patty on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Assemble the Hamburger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

While the patty is cooking, slice the hamburger bun in half and toast it lightly on the grill or skillet for about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, sliced tomato, and pickle slices. Add ketchup and mustard to taste.

  3. 7

    Complete the Burger

Cover with the top half of the bun and press down gently to hold everything together.
