Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Burger Patty

Shape the beef mixture into a round patty about 3/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patty

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned, then flip it.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place the American cheese slice on top of the patty and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Cheeseburger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

While the patty is cooking, slice the hamburger bun in half and toast it lightly if desired.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Once the patty is done, place it on the bottom half of the bun. Top it with a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and two slices of pickles.

  3. 7

    Finish the Burger

Cover with the top half of the bun, press down lightly, and your Junior Cheeseburger is ready to serve.
