Preparation
Prepare the Pickled Onion Relish
Thinly slice the red onion and place it in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix white vinegar and sugar until dissolved. Pour the mixture over the onions and let them pickle in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Salmon
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from heat and flake into bite-sized pieces.
Make the Avocado Crema
In a blender or food processor, combine avocado, lime juice, and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.
Assemble the Tacos
To assemble, take a wonton wrapper and place a piece of nori on it. Add flaked salmon on top, followed by pickled onions and a drizzle of avocado crema. Fold and serve immediately.
