Jalapeño Au Gratin

Method

Loaded Baked Potato

  1. 1

    Bake the Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the russet potatoes and prick them with a fork. Bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Toppings

Once the potatoes are cooked, slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, and bacon bits.

Truffle Mac & Cheese

  1. 3

    Cook the Macaroni

Boil water in a large pot and add elbow macaroni. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.

  2. 4

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, then gradually add milk, whisking until smooth. Mix in truffle oil, cheddar cheese, and parmesan until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 5

    Combine and Bake

Mix the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Pour into a baking dish, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.

Jalapeño Au Gratin

  1. 6

    Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.

  2. 7

    Layer the Potatoes

Layer half of the thinly sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, jalapeños, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers.

  3. 8

    Add Cream and Bake

Pour the cream over the top and dot with butter. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
