Prepare the Asparagus
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add 1 tsp of salt. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and add to the boiling water. Cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

Make the Hollandaise Sauce
In a heatproof bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and lemon juice until thickened. Melt the butter in a saucepan until bubbling. Slowly drizzle the melted butter into the egg mixture while whisking continuously until the sauce is creamy. Season with a pinch of salt and cayenne pepper.

Arrange the asparagus on a plate and drizzle the hollandaise sauce over the top. Serve immediately.
