Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and grated parmesan cheese. Mix well until fully combined.

Make the Sauce
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the marinara sauce, add dried oregano, and season with salt and black pepper. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne pasta with the marinara sauce. Add in the cheese mixture and mix gently until the pasta is coated evenly.

Transfer to Baking Dish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the pasta mixture to a half pan (or a 9x13 inch baking dish).

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the extra shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pasta. Add chopped fresh basil for flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
