Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets. Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides of the fillets.

  3. 3

    Add Capers and Lemon

Sprinkle the capers over the top of the salmon fillets. Cut the lemon in half, then squeeze the juice from one half over the salmon. Slice the other half into thin rounds and place the slices on top of the fillets.

  4. 4

    Chop the Parsley

Finely chop the fresh parsley and set it aside for garnish.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Bake the Salmon

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the salmon from the oven. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the top and serve immediately with additional lemon wedges on the side.
