Cognac Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling a cognac glass. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Pour the Cognac

Remove the glass from the freezer and pour 1 bottle (750 ml) of Louis XIII Cognac into the glass.

  3. 3

    Add Water

Gently add 50 ml of water to the cognac. This will help open up the flavors.

  4. 4

    Add Ice

Carefully place 3 ice cubes into the glass to chill the cognac further without diluting it too much.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Add a slice of orange peel on the rim of the glass and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of dark chocolate shavings on top for an elegant garnish.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Serve the cognac immediately and enjoy it slowly to savor the rich and complex flavors.
