Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your baked goods rise properly.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well blended.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs until fully combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.

  5. 5

    Add Toppings

Fold in any optional toppings like chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or fresh fruits if desired.

Baking

  1. 6

    Prepare the Pan

Grease and flour a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. 7

    Pour Batter

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.

  3. 8

    Bake

Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  4. 9

    Cool

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
