    Cook Spaghetti

Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions (usually about 8-10 minutes) until al dente.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside.

Making Marinara Sauce

  1. 4

    Heat Olive Oil

In a saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil.

  2. 5

    Sauté Garlic

Add minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 6

    Add Tomatoes and Spices

Pour in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

  4. 7

    Simmer Sauce

Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. 8

In the last few minutes of cooking, stir in the chopped fresh basil.

Making Butter & Parmesan Sauce

  1. 9

    Melt Butter

In a separate saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
