Make the Sauce
In the same pot, add the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer, scraping the bottom of the pot to incorporate all the flavors. Return the short ribs to the pot, cover, and let simmer for 2 hours until tender.

Cook the Pasta
While the sauce is simmering, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Layer the Ingredients
In a large baking dish, spread a layer of tomato sauce at the bottom. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of béchamel sauce, ricotta cheese, and a portion of the short ribs. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of noodles and béchamel sauce.

Top with Cheese
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the top layer of béchamel sauce.

Bake the Lasagna
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Let the lasagna rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
