Method
For the Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Season the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- 3
Roast the Chicken
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
For the Fettuccine Alfredo
- 4
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 5
- 6
Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low, then gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- 7
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
- 8
Serve
Slice the roasted chicken and place on top of the fettuccine. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
