Prepare Butternut Squash
Peel and cube the butternut squash into small pieces. Steam or boil until tender, approximately 10-15 minutes.

Prepare Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends and slice the Brussels sprouts in half. Set aside.

Cook Sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks, about 8-10 minutes.

Cook Gnocchi
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the sausage, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the fresh sage leaves and cook until the butter starts to brown slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, bringing it to a simmer.

Combine Ingredients
Add the cooked butternut squash, sausage, and gnocchi to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to taste.

Plate the gnocchi mixture and top with the crispy Brussels sprouts. Add extra Parmesan cheese if desired and serve hot.
