Preparation of Chicken

Marinate Chicken
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, salt, black pepper, and bloody mary spice rub. Add chicken breasts, cover, and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

Prepare Coating
In a shallow dish, mix flour and cornstarch. Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and dredge in the flour mixture.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
