Prepare the Ingredients
Cook the meat of your choice (chicken, beef, or pork) and shred or chop it into bite-sized pieces. Prepare the pico de gallo by mixing diced tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Set aside.

Warm the Beans
In a small saucepan, heat the refried beans over low heat until warmed through.
Assembling the Nachos

Layer the Chips
On a large baking sheet or platter, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

Add the Beans
Spoon the warmed refried beans over the chips, distributing evenly.

Add Meat and Cheese
Top with your choice of cooked meat and sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.

Melt the Cheese
Place the nachos in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finish with Toppings
Remove from the oven and add shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and dollops of sour cream on top. Serve immediately.
