Method

Cooking Salmon

1

Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

2

Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill. Coat the salmon fillets with the marinade and let them sit for about 15 minutes.

3

Cook the Salmon

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil, then place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

4

Plate the Dish

Place each cooked salmon fillet on a serving plate.

5

Add Ice Cream

Scoop 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and place them next to the salmon on the plate.

6

Garnish (optional)

Garnish the dish with extra fresh dill or lemon slices if desired.
