1. Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, knead the pizza dough until smooth and elastic. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F). On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.

Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or baking tray. Spread the sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni slices, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Top with fresh basil leaves.
