Pasta Preparation
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
Grill the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from grill and let rest before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
Combine Everything
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce, mixing until evenly coated. Slice the grilled chicken and arrange on top of the pasta.
Garnish and Serve
