Method
Preparation
Trim and Halve Brussels Sprouts
Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim the stem ends and remove any yellow or damaged outer leaves. Cut each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.
Glaze Preparation
Mix the Glaze
In a medium bowl, combine the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until fully combined.
Roasting
Toss Brussels Sprouts
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Ensure they are evenly coated.
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Glaze the Brussels Sprouts
Remove the roasted Brussels sprouts from the oven. Drizzle the sweet chili glaze over them while they are still hot. Toss to coat evenly.
