Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- 2
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 3
Melt Butter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 4
Combine Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Pour in the melted butter and mix until combined.
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until no dry flour remains. Be careful not to overmix.
- 6
Fold in Add-ins
Gently fold in the chopped macadamia nuts and semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 7
Pour Batter into Pan
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- 8
Bake the Brownies
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 9
Cool and Cut
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting them out and cutting into squares.
