Method

Pork Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with Hawaiian sea salt evenly on all sides.

  2. 2

    Add Liquid Smoke

Drizzle the liquid smoke over the seasoned pork and massage it into the meat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.

  4. 4

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the juices.

Coleslaw Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and black pepper. Toss until fully coated.

Assembling Sliders

  1. 6

    Prepare the Rolls

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.

  2. 7

    Add Pork

Spoon a generous amount of the shredded pork onto the bottom half of each roll.

  3. 8

    Top with Coleslaw

Add a scoop of the prepared coleslaw over the pork on each slider.

  4. 9

    Finish and Serve

Place the top half of the rolls on each slider, press gently, and serve warm.
