Preparing the Burger Patties

1. Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and sesame oil. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2. Form Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty that is slightly wider than the burger buns.

3. Chill Patties

Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.

4. Preheat Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

5. Cook Patties

Once hot, place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

6. Rest Patties

Remove the patties from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before assembling the burgers.

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
