Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Edamame
Start by rinsing the edamame pods under cold running water to remove any dirt or impurities.
- 2
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil over high heat.
- 3
Cook the Edamame
Once the water is boiling, add the rinsed edamame pods to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the beans are tender but still slightly firm.
- 4
Drain and Salt
After cooking, drain the edamame in a colander and then return to the pot. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of sea salt and toss to coat the pods evenly.
- 5
Serve
Transfer the salted edamame to a serving bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy by popping the beans out of the pods.
