Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the hanger steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Place the garlic cloves, rosemary, and thyme on top of the steak.

  2. 2

    Vacuum Seal

Place the seasoned steak into a vacuum seal bag. Drizzle with olive oil and seal the bag using a vacuum sealer.

  3. 3

    Sous-Vide Cooking

Preheat a sous-vide water bath to 55°C (131°F) for medium-rare. Submerge the sealed steak in the water bath and cook for 2 to 4 hours.

  4. 4

    Searing the Steak

Once the sous-vide cooking is complete, remove the steak from the bag and pat dry. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the steak for about 1-2 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with NoJa potatoes and sautéed vegetables.
