Method
Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars and Eggs
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- 5
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
S'mores Assembly
- 6
Add Toppings
Remove the brownies from the oven and sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the top. Then sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs on top of the marshmallows.
- 7
Broil the Brownies
Place the brownies under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
- 8
Serve
Allow the brownies to cool slightly. Cut into squares and serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top as desired.
