Method

Preparing the Tea Blend

  1. 1

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the Sencha tea leaves, roasted brown rice, and stone-milled matcha powder. Mix well to ensure even distribution of flavors.

Cold Brewing Process

  1. 2

    Infuse the Tea Blend

Place the tea blend into a large pitcher or jar. Add the cold water and stir gently to dissolve the matcha powder. Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap.

  2. 3

    Refrigerate

Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 12 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the tea to steep.

Serving

  1. 4

    Strain and Serve

After steeping, strain the tea blend through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into another pitcher to remove the solid ingredients.

  2. 5

    Sweeten to Taste

If desired, sweeten the cold brew with honey or agave syrup to taste. Serve over ice cubes for a refreshing drink.
