Method
Preparation
Season the Filling
Once the txistorra is cooked, add garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and let it cool slightly.
Assembly
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll Out the Puff Pastry
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles, roughly 10x15 cm (4x6 inches).
Fill the Pastry
Place a spoonful of the txistorra mixture in the center of each pastry rectangle. Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and press the edges to seal.
Egg Wash
Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of the pastries with the egg wash for a golden finish.
Baking
Bake the Flaueta
Place the filled pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
Cool and Serve
Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
