Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.

2

Cook the Aromatics

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.

3

Add Beer and Tomatoes

Pour in the beer and add the diced tomatoes. Stir to combine, and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.

4

Steam the Clams

Add the cleaned clams to the pot, cover, and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened. Discard any clams that remain closed.

5

Serve

Serve the steamed clams hot with the broth, accompanied by garlic butter bread for dipping.
