Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Basmati Rice
Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed rice with 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
- 2
Sauté the Broccolini
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccolini and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
- 3
Sear the Salmon
Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- 4
Glaze and Serve
Drizzle the Hadouken soy glaze over the seared salmon fillets. Serve the salmon on a plate with a side of basmati rice and sautéed broccolini.
