Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Tomatoes
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Gently fold in the fresh basil leaves. Let the mixture marinate for about 15 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- 2
Toast the Baguette
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 3
Assemble the Bruschetta
Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of the marinated tomato and basil mixture. Tear the buffalo mozzarella into smaller pieces and place them on top of the tomatoes.
- 4
Finish with Balsamic Glaze
Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the assembled bruschetta before serving. Serve immediately and enjoy!
