Brewing the Tea

Prepare the Water
In a large pot, bring 16 cups of water to a boil.

Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 10 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea (Optional)

Add Sweetener
If you prefer sweet tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or 0.5 cup of honey to the hot tea. Stir until fully dissolved.

Cool the Tea
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before transferring it to a gallon container.
Serving the Iced Tea

Prepare the Cups
Fill 10 cups with ice cubes, approximately 1 cup of ice per cup.

Pour Tea
Pour the cooled tea over the ice in each cup until filled.

Garnish
Add a slice of lemon to each cup for flavor and garnish.
