Prepare Lemonade Base

Juicing the Lemons
Roll the lemons on a flat surface to soften them, then cut them in half and juice them to extract about 1 cup of lemon juice.

Mixing Ingredients
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, granulated sugar, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add Fresh Mint

Muddling Mint
In a separate bowl, take the fresh mint leaves and gently muddle them with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the oils and flavor.

Infusing Mint Flavor
Add the muddled mint leaves to the pitcher with the lemonade mixture. Stir gently to combine and allow it to infuse for at least 10 minutes.
Serve

Prepare for Serving
If using, add ice cubes to serving glasses or the pitcher. You can also garnish with lemon slices and additional mint leaves for presentation.
