Preparation

Preparation

1. Prepare the Spicy Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water (1 cup each) along with 1-2 fresh sliced jalapeños. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, then bring to a simmer. Allow it to simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, let it cool, then strain out the jalapeños.

2. Juice the Limes

Cut fresh limes in half and juice them until you have 1 oz of lime juice. Strain to remove any seeds or pulp.

Mixing the Cocktail

3. Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of spicy syrup.

4. Shake Well

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

5. Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnishing

6. Add Garnish

Garnish your Bangkok Blaze with a lime wheel on the rim and sprinkle a pinch of chili powder on top for an extra kick.
