Crispy Garlic Shrimp

Additional Toppings

Method

Crispy Garlic Shrimp

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Coat the Shrimp

In a separate bowl, whisk together the water and minced garlic. Dip each shrimp into the garlic mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated.

  3. 3

    Fry the Shrimp

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated shrimp in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Garlic Chicken

  1. 4

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 5

    Cook the Chicken

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and slice.

Sweet Wasabi Aioli

  1. 6

    Prepare the Aioli

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, wasabi paste, honey, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined.

Assemble the Bowl

  1. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

In a serving bowl, layer the cooked rice, steamed vegetables, sliced garlic chicken, and crispy garlic shrimp.

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

Drizzle the Sweet Wasabi Aioli over the top and sprinkle with furikake seasoning for garnish.
