Method

Salmon Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Remove the skin and bones from the Wild Alaskan Salmon. Chop it finely or pulse it in a food processor until it is coarsely ground.

  2. 2

    Mix the Patty Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, panko breadcrumbs, egg, chopped green onions, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. 3

    Form the Patties

Divide the salmon mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1-inch thick.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil. Cook each salmon patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Wasabi Furikake Aioli Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix Aioli Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, wasabi paste, furikake seasoning, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Burger Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Burger

Spread a generous amount of the wasabi furikake aioli on the bottom half of each burger bun. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by a cooked salmon patty, sliced tomatoes, and onions. Top with crispy onions and cover with the top half of the bun.
