Preparation of Tonkatsu

Season pork loin chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.

Bread the Pork
Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip in the beaten eggs, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once hot, fry the breaded pork chops until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
