Method

Pork Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Add the pork shoulder, ensuring it's well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Cooking the Pork

  1. 2

    Cook Pork

Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade and grill for about 15-20 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (165°F). Once cooked, let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the burger buns in half. On the bottom half, place a leaf of lettuce, a few slices of grilled pork, a slice of tomato, and a few slices of onion. If desired, add a slice of cheese. Top with the other half of the bun.

Macaroni Salad Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook Macaroni

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.

  2. 5

    Mix Salad Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the cooled macaroni, mayonnaise, diced celery, grated carrot, chopped green onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
