Beef Patty
Sandwich Assembly
Macaroni Salad (optional)
Method
Prepare the Beef Patty
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined.
- 2
Shape the Patties
Form the mixture into four equal patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- 3
Cook the Patties
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
Assemble the Sandwich
- 4
Prepare the Buns
Toast the burger buns lightly on a skillet or a toaster.
- 5
Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a beef patty, a slice of cheese (if using), onion slices, and tomato slices.
- 6
Complete the Sandwich
Top with the other half of the bun and press down gently. Repeat for all sandwiches.
Prepare the Macaroni Salad (optional)
- 7
Cook the Macaroni
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool.
- 8
Mix the Salad
In a large bowl, combine cooled macaroni, mayonnaise, chopped celery, green bell pepper, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well-combined.
