Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Cook the Ramen
In a separate pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Ingredients
Once the noodles are cooked, reduce the heat and add soy sauce, shredded cabbage, and sliced kamaboko. Stir gently to combine and heat through for another 2 minutes.

Add the Shrimp and Egg
Gently stir in the sautéed shrimp. Serve the soup in bowls, topping each with a soft-boiled egg, sliced green onion, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
Optional Spicy Soup

If you prefer a spicy soup, stir in chili paste or sauce to the broth before adding the noodles.
