Method

Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Let them sit for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Steam the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam for about 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Thai Salsa

  1. 3

    Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the fresh cilantro, red onion, and jalapeño pepper. Halve the cherry tomatoes.

  2. 4

    Mix the Salsa

In a bowl, combine chopped cilantro, red onion, cherry tomatoes, jalapeño pepper, lime juice, and fish sauce. Stir well to combine and let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Steamed Vegetables

  1. 5

    Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the carrot and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 6

    Steam the Vegetables

In a steamer basket, add broccoli, carrot, and zucchini. Steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender but still crisp.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, place the steamed salmon fillet and generously top with the Thai salsa. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables.
