Method

Prepare the Poke Filling

  1. 1

    Dice the Ahi Tuna

Cut the ahi tuna into small cubes, about 1/2 inch in size.

  2. 2

    Mix the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine the diced ahi tuna with soy sauce, sesame oil, and sliced green onions. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Add Avocado and Mango

Gently fold in the diced avocado and mango into the tuna mixture. Be careful not to mash the avocado.

  4. 4

    Include Seaweed Salad

Add the seaweed salad to the mixture and stir to combine.

  5. 5

    Adjust Spice Level

Add Sriracha sauce to taste, mixing gently to incorporate.

Prepare the Poke Bomb Shell

  1. 6

    Cook the Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions.

  2. 7

    Season the Rice

Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl. Mix together rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl until dissolved, then pour over the rice. Stir gently to combine.

  3. 8

    Shape the Bombs

Take a small amount of the seasoned sushi rice and press it into the bottom of a nori square, forming a small cup.

  4. 9

    Fill the Cups

Add a generous amount of the poke filling into the rice cup you just formed.

  5. 10

    Seal the Bombs

Take the corners of the nori and bring them together to form a pouch, sealing the filling inside.
