Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty. Place a nori sheet on top of each patty, pressing gently to adhere.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Place each cooked patty on a burger bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and additional nori sheets if desired.

Macaroni Salad Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Macaroni

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

  2. 6

    Mix the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the cooled macaroni, mayonnaise, diced celery, diced green bell pepper, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until well mixed.

Toss Salad Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Toss Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 8

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle over the salad and toss to combine.
