For the Grilled Steak

Method

For the Grilled Steak

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and lime juice. Mix well and add the flank steak, ensuring it is fully coated in the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

For the Poke Bowl

  1. 3

    Prepare the Rice

If you haven't already, prepare sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool to room temperature.

  2. 4

    Slice the Vegetables

While the steak is marinating or grilling, slice the cucumber, avocado, and radishes. Chop the green onions and set aside.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Poke Bowl

In a bowl, start with a base of cooked sushi rice. Top it with sliced grilled steak, cucumber, avocado, radishes, and seaweed salad. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

  4. 6

    Finish with Drizzle

Drizzle soy sauce over the assembled poke bowl to taste and add chili flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
