Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Linguica

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Slice the linguica sausage into 1/4-inch thick slices.

  2. 2

    Cook the Linguica

Place the sliced linguica on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until heated through and slightly crispy on the edges.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the linguica is cooking, lightly toast the gourmet buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Spread the Mustard

Once the buns are toasted, spread 1 tablespoon of lilikoi mustard on the bottom half of each bun.

  2. 5

    Add the Linguica

Place the cooked linguica slices on top of the mustard-covered bun.

  3. 6

    Add Toppings

Layer on slices of tomato, followed by the house pickled onions and a generous scoop of house sauerkraut.

  4. 7

    Finish the Sandwich

Top with the other half of the bun and press down gently to secure the toppings.
