Marinade

Beef Ribs

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Marinade Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and black pepper. Whisk together until the sugar is dissolved and all ingredients are well mixed.

  2. 2

    Add Sesame Seeds

Stir in the sesame seeds to the marinade mixture.

Marinating Ribs

  1. 3

    Prepare Ribs

Place the boneless beef short ribs in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.

  2. 4

    Marinate

Pour the prepared marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Grilling

  1. 5

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 6

    Remove Ribs from Marinade

Take the marinated ribs out of the refrigerator. Discard the marinade.

  3. 7

    Grill Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness and have nice grill marks.

  4. 8

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot, garnished with additional chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
