Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Rub the Steak

In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub the olive oil over the steak, then evenly coat it with the herb and spice mixture. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Green Salad Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

Garlic Sautéed Vegetables Preparation

  1. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

Chop the bell pepper, zucchini, and carrot into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chopped vegetables, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until tender.

Cooking Rice or French Fries

  1. 5

    Cook the Rice

If using rice, prepare according to package instructions. Use the appropriate amount of water, usually 2 cups for 1 cup of rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until water is absorbed and rice is tender.

  2. 6

    Prepare French Fries (Optional)

If opting for French fries, you can either fry, bake, or air-fry them according to package instructions or your preferred method.
