Marinade
Chicken
Serving
Method
Marinating the Chicken
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours for best results.
Grilling the Chicken
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- 5
Rest the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.
Serving the Dish
- 6
Plate the Chicken
Slice the grilled chicken breasts and arrange them on a serving plate.
- 7
Garnish
Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the chicken and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
